Miejski Zakład Komunikacji will finally have a comfortable touring coach. However, the vehicle does not come straight from the factory; it has already been used for several years. As a result, it will cost half as much—just under PLN 500,000. The decision to purchase it has already been made and is to be finalized by the end of July.
The bus will be made available to anyone who decides to rent it. MZK needs to have a modern fleet because it wants to expand its operations to include tourist transport and the organization of trips.
The bus has a 428-horsepower DAF engine, advanced steering and driving assistance systems, air conditioning, a toilet, a kitchen, a safe, a refrigerator, and a sleeping cabin for the driver. The bus has 49 leather passenger seats with seat belts. Folding LCD displays for showing images from a DVD player are mounted under the ceiling. The bus is equipped with a satellite GPS navigation system. The vehicle was manufactured by the Polish company Solaris.
