The Bolesławiec City Hall informs that – pursuant to Resolution No. LII/488/06 of the Bolesławiec City Council of 30 August 2006, concerning the “Program for the neutralization of hazardous materials and waste containing asbestos in the Municipality of Bolesławiec,” amended by Resolution No. IV/15/10 of the Bolesławiec City Council of 29 December 2010, and Order No. 16/2011 of the Mayor of Bolesławiec of 12 January 2012, concerning the rules for granting funding from the Bolesławiec city budget for work carried out in connection with the removal of asbestos products or products containing asbestos from buildings within the city of Bolesławiec – funding is available to individuals, housing communities, budgetary units and budgetary establishments.
The first step in applying for funding is submitting to the Mayor of Bolesławiec the “Information on products containing asbestos and the place of their use”, which constitutes Annex No. 3 to the Regulation of the Minister of Economy of 13 December 2010 concerning the requirements for the use of products containing asbestos and the use and cleaning of installations or equipment in which products containing asbestos were or are used (Journal of Laws of 2011, No. 8, item 31). Anyone using products containing asbestos submits the “Information...” annually, by 31 January, to the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. An individual who is not an entrepreneur submits the above information to the Mayor of Bolesławiec.
The “Information on products containing asbestos” is prepared in two copies:
- one copy is submitted in writing to the competent authority
- the second copy is kept for one year, until the next information is prepared.
The information must be updated annually by 31 January of each year.
