The center is located on the first floor of the building at 11 Parkowa Street. It is a support center for adults with moderate to profound intellectual disabilities, or with mild intellectual disabilities accompanied by a comorbid disorder, such as a motor dysfunction or epilepsy. Participants in the therapy provided at the center have completed or do not continue their education at special schools and are not employed.

The primary task of the 2nd Community Self-Help Center is to provide supportive and rehabilitative services, namely to maintain and develop the skills of people participating in therapeutic activities that are necessary for them to live as independently and dignified a life as possible. Participants have access to a range of workshops where, under the supervision of experienced therapists, they develop their skills and gradually achieve greater independence.
