Primary, middle and upper-secondary school students may submit applications by 15 September. Students of teacher-training colleges, foreign-language colleges and social services worker colleges may submit applications by 15 October.
In the 2004/2005 school year, 297 decisions granting scholarships were issued. In 44 cases, the decision was negative because the income threshold had been exceeded. In 46 cases, applicants did not attach all the required documents to their applications. In two cases, applicants withdrew the submitted documents themselves. The scholarship amount ranged from PLN 45 to PLN 112, depending on the family income.
Applications for social scholarships for the 2005/2006 school year can be collected and submitted at the Social Affairs Department of the Municipal Office of Bolesławiec, 1 Piłsudskiego Square, 3rd floor, room 307, tel. 645 65 68. The application form is also available in the Public Information Bulletin of the Municipal Office of Bolesławiec.
