On Tuesday night, October 16, Józef Ferensowicz died suddenly. He was a retired physical education teacher. He belonged to the Polish Football Association and was a certified referee. He taught at the Primary School in Bożejowice, the former Collective Commune School in Bolesławiec, and the Primary School in Kruszyn.
His favorite activities were sports and reading books. He loved physical activity and refereed football matches until the last days of his life. The last match he officiated was the Sunday game in Otok. In recent years, his granddaughter brought him the greatest joy.
The last farewell will take place on Thursday, October 18, at 1:00 p.m. at the cemetery in Bolesławiec. The funeral after cremation will be held on Monday, October 22, at 12:00 p.m. also at the cemetery in Bolesławiec.
