On Saturday, October 6, BKS faced the local Włókniarz side in Mirsk. The match between the league leaders and the runners-up was billed as the round’s big game. The football spectacle would certainly have been better had it not been for the strong wind, which hindered both teams from playing the ball. The first half clearly belonged to BKS. The hosts looked frightened and played uncertainly. BKS had several good chances to score. Marcin Jankowski had opportunities. Unfortunately, the BKS striker was either blocked or shot inaccurately. The referee also disallowed a goal scored by Marcin, indicating that the player had been offside. Kamil Mielnik also failed to take advantage of a one-on-one chance with the Mirsk goalkeeper, shooting wide of the goal from 15 metres.

In the 21st minute, the hosts took the lead. This happened after a series of mistakes by the Bolesławiec players. First, goalkeeper Manuel Kowalski slipped while clearing the ball. A home player took possession and shot towards the BKS goal. Paweł Glanc intervened there, but unfortunately struck Jacek Bochnia. The ball bounced off Jacek and went into the BKS goal. After conceding, BKS continued to attack, while the hosts defended and tried to counterattack. Towards the end of the first half, Zbigniew Mastalerz had a chance to equalise, but he waited too long to shoot and a home player took the ball away from him. In the 42nd minute, BKS equalised. After a throw-in, Marcin Jankowski took advantage of the confusion in front of goal and, with a shot right beside the post, forced the Mirsk goalkeeper to concede.

After the break, the hosts took the lead again. In the 52nd minute, Bartłomiej Faściszewski capitalised on Radosław Powroźnik’s mistake, won possession and made it 2–1 to Włókniarz. After scoring, the hosts tried to extend their lead, but BKS did not give up either. BKS’s open play almost allowed the hosts to make it 3–1. In the 65th minute, a Mirsk player dribbled past several BKS players, but inside the penalty area he pushed the ball too far ahead and nothing came of the move. The closing stages once again belonged to BKS. The Bolesławiec players threatened the home goal several times, and only the goalkeeper’s excellent performance prevented them from conceding.

Towards the end of the second half, Józef Pietrzak had to leave the pitch due to injury. Paweł Dzięgleski replaced him. In the 87th minute, the Włókniarz goalkeeper was beaten. Zbigniew Mastalerz produced an excellent shot under the crossbar to make it 2–2. The match ended with that score. After the draw in Mirsk, BKS moved into first place in the league table. In the next round, the Bolesławiec side also face a difficult match. Paweł Żmudziński’s team will play Leśnik in Osiecznica.
