The district football tournament for young footballers took place on Sunday, September 23, in Bogatynia. Our city was represented by the KS Talent group and the BKS Bobrzanie young footballers, who finished in second place. The team consisted of: Mateusz Majszczyk, Maksymilian Mielnik, Błażej Piotrowski, Oskar Wójcik, Mateusz Bartosik, Dominik Majewski, Kacper Skóra, Filip Kolasa, Karina Kruk, Dawid Kupczak and Igor Suski (goalkeeper).

Nine teams entered the tournament: Nysa Zgorzelec, Pieńsk, Węgliniec, Lubań (two squads), Porajów, Bogatynia, KS Talent Bolesławiec and BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec.

In the group stage, the BKS young footballers faced Porajów (6:1), Skorpiony Lubań (2:0), Węgliniec (2:0) and Bogatynia, which forfeited the match. In the semifinal, the team from Bolesławiec defeated Pieńsk 4:3.

In the final, the Bolesławiec team faced Nysa Zgorzelec. The match ended in a 0:0 draw. The winner was decided by a penalty shootout, which Bolesławiec lost 0:1 to the team from Zgorzelec.

The goals for our team were scored by: Oskar Wójcik (5), Mateusz Majszczyk (4), Błażej Piotrowski (2), Maksymilian Mielnik (2) and Kacper Skóra (1).

The team is coached by Bartosz Mrozik.
