On Wednesday (September 19), BKS Bobrzanie hosted Victoria Ruszów. From the beginning of the match, the Bolesławiec team imposed a fast pace of play. The home side’s advantage was unquestionable, but they lacked effective finishing. After shots by Marcin Jankowski and Zbigniew Mastalerz, Victoria were saved by the post. In turn, after Paweł Żmudziński’s shot, the visiting goalkeeper managed to tip the ball, which then also bounced off the crossbar, and the visitors still kept a clean sheet. Wojciech Glanc, Jacek Bochnia and Józef Pietrzak, twice, also tested the visitors’ goal with shots, but it remained as if bewitched. Only in the 43rd minute did Paweł Żmudziński take advantage of a loose ball and open the scoring for BKS with a shot beside the post.

The visitors tried to score a consolation goal, but BKS controlled the game and the match ended 3:0 (1:0) for BKS. Next Sunday, BKS will play away against Olimpia Kamienna Góra.
