On Saturday, September 1, BKS played its fourth-round match in the regional league. The Bolesławiec side’s opponents were Bazalt Sulików. The match began with attacks from our team. Marcin Jankowski, Damian Kamuda, Wojciech Glanc and Józef Pietrzak, who headed twice from set pieces, tried to threaten the visitors’ goal. Despite our team’s advantage, the visitors held out until the 27th minute. Then, after a fine exchange of passes, Damian Kamuda scored for BKS Damian Kamuda. The score did not change before the break. Although the hosts clearly dominated, the visitors also had two chances. In one of them, a Sulików player failed to find the net in a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper.
In the second half, BKS controlled the match and goals were only a matter of time. The fans saw as many as five. In the 47th minute, Marcin Jankowski made it 2:0 Marcin Jankowski. BKS played with a high press and repeatedly won the ball in the opponents’ half. After the victory over Sulików, BKS is top of the table with 12 points. Next Wednesday, BKS will face local side Jawa in Otok.
