The Duty Officer of the Bolesławiec District Headquarters of the State Fire Service received 10 reports of flooded basements. Water entered buildings on Zgorzelecka Street and Aleja Wojska Polskiego. Minor flooding was recorded in Iwiny, Raciborowice and Trzebień. The local fire service also pumped water out of flooded basements.

Rain began falling at around 1:00 p.m. The intense rainfall turned streets into raging streams, while storm drains could not keep up with draining the water. Puddles formed on the roads, making passage difficult and, in some places—for example, near Spokojna Street—making it impossible for cars to pass.
