On Tuesday, 17 July, we wrote that Piotr Roman, the mayor of Bolesławiec, had once again given bonuses to his people . As it turns out, an annual bonus of PLN 10,000 was also awarded to Władysław Bakalarz, president of the Municipal Communal Services Company in Bolesławiec. The MZGK supervisory board applied for the bonus.
The justification for Piotr Roman’s order states: “Mr Władysław Bakalarz [...] properly fulfilled his duties concerning the ongoing and uninterrupted satisfaction of the needs of the residents of Bolesławiec municipality, settling public-law liabilities on time. The company is managed in a modern, efficient and managerial manner; it is known for many pro-environmental initiatives promoting the protection of the environment and natural assets, and is known and valued on the market. [...] The company increased employment by pursuing an appropriate wage and employment policy. The payment of the annual bonus will not have a significant impact on the entity’s financial situation [podkreślenia – »ii«].”
