The winners of the literary competition “The Only Way to Peace Is Forgiveness”, held under the patronage of the Lower Silesian Voivode Aleksander Marek Skorupa and the Pax et Bonum Foundation, have been announced. The entries were assessed by a jury consisting of: Katarzyna Łaszkiewicz, Małgorzata Juźwin (teachers from X General Secondary School in Wrocław), and Bogna Adamczyk from Pax et Bonum.
The competition was won by Sylwia Marciniak, a student at Janusz Korczak II General Secondary School in Bolesławiec. Second place went to Magdalena Adamska, a student of X General Secondary School in Wrocław. Third prize went to Agnieszka Łaniocha from Bolesławiec’s II LO.
The awards ceremony will take place in October in the capital of Lower Silesia. The competition was organized as part of the “Journeys Along the Trail of Values” project. The teacher of both II LO winners is Kazimiera Bukowska.
