The final matches of the Dolnośląskie Euro 2012 football competition are approaching. The final will take place at the Municipal Stadium in Wrocław on 5 May. The BKS Bobrzanie orliks (2001–2002 age group) are preparing for the final matches. The team coached by Mirosław Szapiel, assisted by Mateusz Mucha, won the April qualifying tournament and will represent the city and county in the grand final.
On Wednesday (25 April), a pleasant surprise awaited the BKS orliks from the reserve team. The training session, led in place of Mateusz Mucha by Wojtek Zimerman, a coach and footballer well known to Bolesławiec supporters and a former BKS, Chrobry Głogów and Swiss FC Luzern player, Wojtek Zimerman. Wojtek currently lives in Switzerland, but visits Bolesławiec in his free time because, as he says: “Bolesławiec is still close to my heart.”
