The second edition of the Polish-Czech-German Innovation 2004 Competition is under way. The organizer of the Competition in Poland is Bolesławieckie Towarzystwo Gospodarcze, while its partners are local-government institutions and organizations from Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany.
The competition takes place in the following categories: "Best Innovation," "Best Cross-Border Cooperation" and "Best Public-Private Cooperation."
The competition is aimed at representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, non-governmental organizations, local-government units, and research and development institutions from the Euroregion Nysa and Legnica County.
In the "Best Innovation" category, new products and technologies that determine economic success and demonstrate progress will be recognized. In the "Best Cross-Border Cooperation" category, cross-border cooperative links that bring benefits and success in developing new products and technologies will be awarded. In the "Best Public-Private Cooperation" category, the best projects and cooperation between municipalities and entrepreneurs and companies that create new jobs, support the development of businesses, create the best conditions for investment in the region, and work to protect the natural environment will be recognized.
Entries can be submitted by 15 August. Winners in the individual categories will receive awards. The first-place winner can receive €1,500.
