The 7th Puzzle Assembly Marathon “MAUPa” was held in the conference room of the Municipal Cultural and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn. Nine teams took part in the competition: Grupa Pościgowa, Może Być Problem, Wesoła Czwórka, Dream Team, Quatro Ragazze, FC Pokielichu, Four Sexy Boys, Czarne Diabły and Twinki.

This year, the organizers decided to try to break the Guinness World Record. The team that was the first to finish assembling the puzzle would be entered by GOKiS in the Book of Records. The marathon was started with a starting-pistol shot by Roman Jaworski, deputy head of the Bolesławiec Rural Commune.

The MAUPa participants had to assemble a puzzle depicting Oberhofen Castle in Switzerland. For the fourth consecutive time, Grupa Pościgowa proved to be the best (comprising: Agnieszka Kołodziej, Bożena Wieczorek, Karolina Wieczorek and Natalia Kołodziej). The champions took 4 hours and 34 minutes to assemble the 1,500-piece puzzle.
