The tender was won by BT Development from Krotoszyn, which offered PLN 1,130,000 for the nearly half-hectare plot. A DINO chain market will be built there. “We chose an inexpensive chain because that was what the estate’s residents needed and wanted,” says city spokesperson Agnieszka Gergont.
The first DINO market was established in 1999, based on Polish capital, in the Greater Poland Voivodeship. Today, the chain has 141 markets. The nearest stores of this chain are in Mirsk and Gryfów. Further plans include opening stores in Jelenia Góra and Legnica.
The estate’s residents had long been seeking a market, feeling disadvantaged compared with residents of al. Tysiąclecia and Jana Pawła II Street, where there are many markets. In this matter, they collected nearly 500 signatures. They will certainly be delighted by the news that the tender has been completed.
