This means that the most dangerous conditions may occur during the night and in the early morning. Heavy rainfall and strong winds may cause local flooding, broken branches, and difficulties on the roads.
Take care!
During a thunderstorm, it is best to remain indoors and avoid going into open areas. It is advisable to close windows, secure items located on balconies and terraces, and limit the use of electrical devices connected to the power grid. If a storm catches us in a car, the safest option is to stop in a safe place and wait out the storm inside the vehicle.
Outdoors, avoid staying under solitary trees, near power poles, or by the water, where the risk of being struck by lightning is particularly high. Drivers should keep a greater distance from other vehicles, adjust their speed to the conditions, and watch out for possible local flooding and broken branches that may appear on roads during heavy rain and strong winds.
