This is another edition of the popular service connecting two parts of Poland. This year, the route from Świnoujście to Wrocław will take just 4 hours and 58 minutes, making it the fastest direct rail connection between West Pomerania and Lower Silesia. It is also a convenient alternative to many hours of driving.
The service is operated by a modern Impuls train, offering air conditioning, comfortable adjustable seats and plenty of space for travelers with children or bicycles. Importantly, ticket prices remain unchanged compared with previous years of KD Premium Nadmorski operations.
KD focuses on interregional connections and invites visitors to its region
The white-and-yellow trains will run throughout the summer holidays, from June 27 to August 29, every weekend: on Saturdays from Wrocław to Świnoujście, and on Sundays in the opposite direction—from Świnoujście to Wrocław.
The KD Premium Nadmorski route runs through the main cities of western Poland, with stops at the following stations: Świnoujście, Międzyzdroje, Szczecin Dąbie, Zielona Góra Główna, Głogów, Lubin, Legnica and, finally, Wrocław Główny.
Not just Wrocław. From the coast to the Karkonosze Mountains!
KD Premium Nadmorski is an excellent start to a summer journey to southern Poland, offering the chance to discover the charms and attractions of Lower Silesia. You can start in the voivodeship’s capital and largest city, Wrocław, which should be the beginning of an adventure, and finish in
places offering plenty of relaxing activities, spectacular views and mineral-water pump rooms. All of this is also connected by active hiking and cycling trips along charming trails.
A trip to the Góry Sowie, Karkonosze and Sudetes should be particularly appealing to tourists, especially since trains returned to Karpacz last year and proved enormously popular—so far, 330,000 people have used them! Direct connections link Wrocław with Szklarska Poręba, while in Jelenia Góra passengers can change to trains traveling, for example, to Świeradów-Zdrój, where spa-town tranquility, local thermal baths and an observation tower await, offering views over the entire Izera Mountains, or to Karpacz, mentioned earlier, from where they can, for example, set out for Śnieżka.
“Just as Lower Silesia residents are eager to travel to the Baltic, I know that residents of Szczecin love Lower Silesia—particularly the Sudetes and places such as Karpacz, Szklarska Poręba and Świeradów-Zdrój. Once they reach Wrocław by KD Premium Nadmorski, they can travel to all those places with Koleje Dolnośląskie,” says Damian Stawikowski, president of Koleje Dolnośląskie.
It is also worth planning other stops. In Bielawa, the new Bielawa Jezioro and Bielawa Góry Sowie stations provide access to Lake Bielawskie and the Góry Sowie, and interestingly, the platform is just a few hundred meters from the lake shore.
Comfort and views
This is only part of the charms of Lower Silesia, which offer residents of northern Poland excellent opportunities to enjoy a comfortable holiday in the mountains and near the borders with the Czech Republic and Germany.
A ticket for a direct journey from Świnoujście to Wrocław costs PLN 99, while travel to Legnica costs PLN 89. Tickets for KD Premium Nadmorski services (which require seat reservations) can easily be purchased, among other ways, via the KOLEO app and platform.
