The general contractor for the project informed the lwowecki.info service that in accordance with the Temporary Traffic Organization approved by the Marshal of the Voivodeship, from 27 July 2026 voivodeship road no. 297 on the Zalesie – Pasiecznik section will be completely closed to traffic.
The planned closure will last 19 days, until 14 August 2026. During this time, road workers will construct the road and lay successive asphalt layers. The work will cover the first kilometre of the section being reconstructed.
What will access look like?
During the closure, residents, businesses and people visiting nearby towns will have to use access from the direction of Lwówek Śląski and Lubomierz.
This applies primarily to the following localities:
- Wojciechów,
- Golejów,
- Zalesie.
At the same time, the contractor reports that access from the direction of Pasiecznik will not be possible during this period.
This is not the end of the project yet
Although the start of asphalt laying is one of the most visible stages of the reconstruction, it does not mean that the entire project is complete.
Under the current contract, completion of the reconstruction of voivodeship road no. 297 is planned for mid-2028. After the work is completed on the section currently being closed, approximately 19 kilometres of road will still remain to be completed.
A substantial part of the work therefore still lies ahead of the contractor, but the asphalt laying now beginning is another step in the implementation of one of the largest road projects in this part of Lower Silesia.
