The District Court in Jelenia Góra decided to arrest the 23-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra at the request of the District Prosecutor in Jelenia Góra. The man is suspected of causing three people to disadvantageously dispose of property worth a total exceeding PLN 1.8 million.

According to the findings of the investigation, the suspect met the victims while working as a personal trainer at one of the gyms in Jelenia Góra.

He allegedly persuaded clients to invest in real estate

According to the prosecutor’s office, between May 26 and June 19, 2026, the 23-year-old allegedly persuaded three fitness club clients to invest money in the joint purchase of real estate.

Investigators say that, in connection with the planned investment, the victims took out loans and cash loans. They then transferred the funds obtained to a bank account belonging to the suspect.

The total value of the money transferred allegedly exceeded PLN 1.8 million.

Prosecutor’s office: he never intended to carry out the investment

According to the prosecutor’s office, the collected evidence indicates that the suspect never intended to fulfill the declared investment or conclude an agreement to purchase the real estate.

The man was questioned as a suspect. He did not admit to the alleged acts and gave explanations.

Court orders three-month detention

At the request of the District Prosecutor in Jelenia Góra, the court imposed pre-trial detention on the 23-year-old for a period of three months.

The information provided indicates that the suspect had not previously been convicted. The offenses of which he is accused carry a sentence of between one and 10 years in prison.

Investigation is ongoing

The prosecutor’s office emphasizes that the proceedings are ongoing and developing. Activities are currently being carried out to determine whether there may have been more victims and whether other people may have participated in the offenses.
