Work in the park includes a comprehensive revitalization of the area, with respect for the existing greenery. Trees, shrubs and previous plantings will be preserved, while new gravel-surfaced paths will follow the natural movement routes, allowing the park to retain its intimate character.

The investment also includes organizing the entire area. Scattered concrete elements and an unused refuse shelter will be removed, while worn-out benches and bins will be replaced with new equipment. The park will feature energy-efficient LED lighting, street furniture and an attractive fence.

One of the project’s most important objectives is caring for the environment and increasing biodiversity. Three swift nesting towers, bird nesting boxes and four insect hotels will be built in the park, with compartments intended, among others, for butterflies, bumblebees, ladybirds and bees. Flower beds with honey-producing plants and a rain garden, supporting rainwater retention, will complement the project.

A total of 875 perennials, grasses, subshrubs and shrubs will be planted. The species were selected for their resistance to urban conditions, high aesthetic value and ability to create a friendly environment for pollinating insects and birds.

A modern playground will also be a new attraction. The youngest visitors will be able to use, among other things, a 4.5-metre rope pyramid, a carousel and swings, while the entire area will be equipped with a safe synthetic surface. It is a space designed for children’s active recreation and the comfort of their caregivers.

The contractor for the works is JAGIELSKI, a company from Bolesławice near Bolesławiec. The investment is worth PLN 876 990.
