Bait containing the vaccine will be dropped from airplanes outside built-up areas. People should not touch, pick up or destroy the bait that has been laid.

From 1 to 10 September, the following rules apply throughout the Lower Silesian Voivodeship:

  • a ban on hunting game with dogs
  • a ban on allowing dogs and cats to roam freely
  • an obligation to keep farm dogs on a leash and cats indoors.

Any case of human contact with the laid vaccine must be reported to the health service, while any case of animal contact with the bait must be reported to the veterinary service. Please exercise particular caution during the vaccination campaign.
