The park near the municipal stadium is currently undergoing a major transformation. Fencing has already been installed on the site. In the next stages, new paths made of water-permeable paving and terraced seating will be built. Energy-efficient LED lighting will be installed, new plantings will be added, and the existing lawns will be renovated.
One of the elements of the investment will be a rain garden, a specially designed area with vegetation used to collect and retain rainwater. Insect houses and nesting boxes for birds will also be installed in the park.
The project also includes the construction of a playground for children. Once all the work is completed, residents will gain a modern, attractive and environmentally friendly space for rest and recreation.
