There was a dangerous incident yesterday on Targowa Street, roughly level with the pet shop.
– I was walking along the pavement and fell into a hole in a storm drain located on the pavement! It is dangerous; someone may be less lucky than I was – says the injured woman from Bolesławiec.
Fortunately, the woman did not suffer anything more serious – she has abrasions on her leg, but there was no fracture. However, as she herself points out, with slightly less luck it could have ended much worse.
Who is responsible for Targowa Street?
According to the list of road managers published by the Bolesławiec City Office, the President of Bolesławiec is responsible for Targowa Street. Residents can therefore direct their inquiries in this matter straight to the office, demanding that the storm drain be secured or repaired urgently.
We appeal to all pedestrians to exercise caution when walking along the pavement on Targowa Street. We asked the UM spokesperson who monitors the condition of storm drains.
