Work has begun on the comprehensive modernization of the park in the area bounded by Zygmunta Augusta, Bronisława Kosiby, Murarska and Gabriela Narutowicza streets. The investment will include new plantings, recreational infrastructure and ecological solutions that will give the site a completely new character.
The park near the city stadium will soon undergo major changes. New permeable paths and terraced seating will be created. LED lamps will be installed, new plants will be planted and the lawns will be renovated.
A rain garden will also be created—a planted area that collects rainwater. The plans include installing insect hotels and birdhouses. A children’s playground is also to be built there. The park will also be fenced.
