The City Hall has already handed over the construction site for the project entitled “Reconstruction of the road – Widok Street in Bolesławiec (side road to the tunnel)”. The investment is being carried out under a “design and build” formula.
What will be done?
The scope of work is extensive. A section of municipal road measuring more than 207 metres in length and 5.5 metres in width will be modernised. A new bituminous surface will be built, as well as a shared pedestrian and cycle path more than 182 metres long and an almost 38-metre pavement. These solutions are intended to significantly improve users’ comfort and safety.
One of the key elements of the investment will be the reconstruction of the intersection with provincial road No. 350. A new surface will be installed there, while the existing pedestrian infrastructure will be organised and adapted to current standards.
The project also includes the construction of a drainage system, which will be connected to the existing combined sewer network.
Additionally, a speed hump, new LED lighting, driveways made of concrete paving blocks and shoulders made of crushed stone are planned.
How much will it cost?
The total cost of the investment is PLN 1.1 million and will be covered by the city budget. The work will be carried out by ZIB ELTOR from Lubań.
When will the work be completed?
The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of May 2026.
