The opening, held in Dresden on April 13, attracted many enthusiasts of ceramic and sculptural art. Visitors to the post-symposium exhibition were impressed by the arrangement, the diversity of artistic concepts and the wealth of themes represented in the works.
The International Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium is one of the few cultural events of its kind in Poland. It has been organized in Bolesławiec for 40 years by the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre, in cooperation with municipal and provincial authorities, under ministerial and Association of Polish Art Photographers patronage.
The symposium culminates in exhibitions at major galleries and museums in Poland and abroad.
