At around 2:20 p.m., a serious road accident occurred on regional road no. 361 between Mirsk and Proszówka. According to preliminary information provided by readers of lwowecki.info, three vehicles collided there, and one of them overturned. At least two people were injured in the collision.
As reported by lwowecki.info, firefighters from the JRG PSP in Lwówek Śląski and volunteers from OSP Proszówka, OSP KSRG Gryfów Śląski and OSP KSRG Mirsk are intervening at the scene. Emergency medical teams from the Ambulance Service in Jelenia Góra and police officers from Lwówek Śląski are also taking action and are determining the course and causes of the accident.
The regional road in the area of Krzewie Wielkie, towards Mirsk and Świeradów-Zdrój, may be impassable in the near future.
Update 8:00 p.m.
Preliminary police findings indicate that a 45-year-old woman from Lwówek County, driving an Opel, moved into the opposite lane for unknown reasons and collided head-on with a VW. The driver of an Audi, travelling behind the Opel, failed to keep a safe distance and hit its rear. As a result of the accident, two people were taken to hospital.
