What is a silent party?
Participants receive wireless headphones through which they listen to music. Several DJs perform at the venue, each on a different channel. In the case of Zielona Góra, these will be the following channels: pop, hip-hop/rap and club music.
This means everyone can choose the music style they prefer and set the volume themselves. To bystanders, the party is practically inaudible – they can see people dancing, but there is no loud music 😀
This solution has several advantages. Above all, it limits noise, which is particularly important in the city center and near residential buildings.
Silent Party also gives participants greater freedom – they do not have to listen to one type of music all night, and at any time they can take off their headphones and have a quiet conversation.

This quiet form of entertainment is intended as a compromise between a city New Year's Eve celebration and the needs of residents who do not want loud concerts beneath their windows. The organizers hope that this way of welcoming the New Year will appeal to both younger and older participants.
