After 6:00 p.m., a serious fire broke out in one of the detached houses in Nowa Wieś, in the Bolesławiec municipality. A gas cylinder located in the kitchen caught fire, and the flames quickly spread to part of the room.
Firefighters were immediately dispatched to the scene. Risking their own safety, the rescuers carried the cylinder out of the building and successfully extinguished the fire. Their swift and decisive intervention prevented the flames from spreading and saved the house from serious damage.
As it turned out, another gas cylinder was located in an adjacent room, further increasing the danger. Fortunately, the situation was quickly brought under control.
No one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire will be determined.
