The competition is open to all residents of Bolesławiec who care about the appearance of their surroundings. The competition will run from April to September. To take part, a completed entry form must be submitted by April 30.
Entry forms may be submitted at the headquarters of the Towarzystwo Miłośników Bolesławca (6 Bankowa Street), the Municipal Department of Urząd Miasta Bolesławiec (1 Piłsudskiego Square, room 506), and the secretariat of Urząd Miasta Bolesławiec (the Town Hall).
The gardens and balconies entered in the competition will be assessed by a jury consisting of representatives of the organizers, after several inspections. Gardens and balconies that have not been entered in the competition by their owners will also be assessed if, in the opinion of the competition committee, they deserve recognition and an award.
The organizers plan to award vouchers redeemable at a gardening store. Awards will be presented in four categories: the most beautifully flowered balcony, the most beautiful flower garden at a single-family residential property, the most beautiful flower garden at a multi-family residential property, and the most beautiful flower garden at service and retail facilities.
