My name is Daria. I set up this fundraiser for my 20-year-old son, who was returning from his sister’s home on October 8, 2025, at 8:40 p.m., and was hit by a driver at a pedestrian crossing. The driver did not stop or brake; he hit Oskar, claiming that he had not seen him, throwing him several metres away.
Today he lies immobilized in bed with a fractured pelvis, a fractured lumbar spine, a fractured pubic bone and a hematoma in his lower abdomen. He cannot get up or move and requires care 24 hours a day. He depends on other people for help with everyday activities—we have to wash him, prepare his meals and help him use the toilet; unfortunately, all of this must be done in bed. It is very embarrassing for him. I had to take care of my son and give up my job.
Every day is a struggle with pain and helplessness for him. We know that he faces a long rehabilitation process, which will be crucial for him to regain full fitness. I am therefore turning to everyone with a heartfelt request for financial assistance with rehabilitation, treatment and daily care. Every złoty is important to us!
