We have reported repeatedly on the planned construction of Vendo Park Bolesławiec. The first information on the subject appeared as early as 2019.
According to the latest plans, the site was to include a Leroy Merlin store, along with a retail passage featuring well-known brands: Biedronka, Martes Sport, Pepco, KiK, Rossmann, Media Expert, RTV Euro AGD, Drogerie Markt and Maxi Zoo.
A few days ago, the media reported that Trei Real Estate had sold its portfolio of retail parks to a consortium of Ares and Slate companies.
“Rzeczpospolita” reports:
The developer sold 36 retail parks operating under the Vendo brand in Poland for more than €300 million (PLN 1.3 billion). Why? Trei Real Estate—according to reports by “Rzeczpospolita”—wants to focus on the United States market.
Press information about the sale does not indicate whether it concerns only completed and operating facilities, or also those under construction. Meanwhile, in Bolesławiec, at the site of the planned development, heavy machinery has appeared and groundwork is under way...
As a reminder, Vendo Park Bolesławiec was planned on Staroszkolna Street, on a plot covering more than 60,000 m², next to national road No. 94 (the city bypass). A roundabout is also planned there, connecting the retail park with the city bypass.
The park’s retail area is expected to cover approximately 17,000 m². In addition, a separate building with an area of more than 9,000 m² will be constructed. The park is to have 745 parking spaces.
We have contacted the company handling media relations for the development regarding its future in Bolesławiec. We are awaiting a response.
