In the 25th round of the Lower Silesian fourth league, BKS Bobrzanie faced Orkan Szczedrzykowice. Injured Jakub Wołyński was absent from the lineup. Saturday’s match was officiated by a trio of referees from Germany. During the first 25 minutes, play took place mainly in the middle of the pitch. BKS tried to attack, but little came of it. Several inaccurate shots and a few imprecise crosses posed no threat to Orkan’s goal. In the 31st minute, the Bolesławiec side finally took the lead. After a cross from Emil Nowakowski, Ariel Sworacki scored with a header. A minute later, Chrystian Serkies was fouled in the visitors’ penalty area. Unfortunately, the Bolesławiec side failed to convert the penalty. The shot by Łukasz Filipiak was saved by the visitors’ goalkeeper, Grzegorz Sinanis. The goalkeeper parried the ball in front of him. Ariel Sworacki was the first to reach it. Unfortunately, his follow-up was wide. BKS led 1–0 at half-time.
In the 46th minute, Ariel Sworacki again had a chance to extend the lead. After an uncertain intervention by a visiting defender, Ariel shot under the crossbar, but Orkan goalkeeper Sinanis, who was in excellent form, was not caught out and turned the ball behind for a corner. Orkan equalised in the 50th minute. Following an attack down the right and a cross, Robert Lazarek scored to make it 1–1. A few minutes later, the ball ended up in the visitors’ net. However, the referee disallowed Łukasz Filipiak’s goal, ruling that the player had been offside. In the 69th minute, Krzysztof Szymański came close to scoring for BKS. The Bolesławiec player narrowly missed. BKS Bobrzanie – Orkan Szczedrzykowice 1–1. After 25 rounds, BKS occupy 11th place in the table. Next week, our team will play away against Piast Zawidów.
