🕺 Dress up—or at least put on a moustache!
Ortalion jackets, skirt suits, hair in rollers, elastic moustaches—everything is welcome. The more “milk bar,” the better. Here, anyone can become a factory-complex director or the queen of the dance hall.
🍽️A MENU THAT DOESN’T REQUIRE RATION COUPONS
A hot buffet, warm with memories of Grandma’s house:
- Sour rye soup with chicken
- Traditional breaded pork chop fried in lard
- Roasted chicken drumsticks
- Mashed potatoes with dill
- Beetroot with onion
- White cabbage salad
Dessert: Sultan’s cream with cherries—the kind of dessert that makes everyone ask for seconds.
🧊A cold buffet, like Auntie’s sideboard:
- Deviled eggs with mayonnaise
- Vegetable salad, just like at Halinka’s name-day celebration
- Herring in oil with onion
- Jellied chicken feet (for the brave)
- Homemade cold cuts
- Pickle and cheese skewers
- Lard with cracklings, pickles and bread
🔥Late-night dishes to warm you up:
- Whole roasted pig – because nobody counts calories at a St Andrew’s Day party
- Cabbage rolls in tomato sauce – like in “Nights and Days,” only without the flooded fields
🎶Music: DJ Luca_Cartel
Dancing until 03:00—or perhaps longer, if the DJ doesn’t run away. “Biały Miś,” “Nie płacz Ewka” and “Małgośka”—whoever doesn’t dance buys the herring!
💸PRICE: PLN 189 per person
