The school in Osiecznica celebrated the 20th anniversary of its patron, John Paul II, its transformation into a school-and-preschool complex, and today’s Teachers’ Day.
Headmistress Urszula Jasińska welcomed all the guests and warmly thanked them for coming. On that day, the school was visited by representatives of the local government, the Education Office, educational institutions, the Forest District, the local mine in Osiecznica, and the military.
– Respect and responsibility remain unchanged. We adults are here so that our students can develop in a friendly, inspiring environment – said Urszula Jasińska during the ceremonial assembly.
Most residents of Osiecznica municipality completed their education at this school.
– I thank the teachers for their dedication and patience, and I wish them many successes and promotions. I wish the school community for our school to be a tolerant and inspiring place – said municipal head Waldemar Nalazek.
As a gift, the municipal head presented the headmistress with a cheque for PLN 3,000 to equip the school further. The students prepared a wonderful artistic programme together with their female teachers and presented it during the ceremonial assembly.
