In the postponed match of the 17th round, BKS Bobrzanie hosted Karkonosze Jelenia Góra. In the first half, our team squandered a good opportunity to take the lead. In the 14th minute, Emil Nowakowski hit the crossbar. Towards the end of the first half, the visitors had several good chances; among other efforts, Mateusz Durlak hit the side netting. In the 61st minute, Kamil Mielnik shot at the visitors’ goal, but the goalkeeper caught the ball. In the 73rd minute, Adam Klimas hit the post. Karkonosze’s Durlak squandered another chance, heading wide from five metres. Both teams played at such a poor level that a goalless draw seemed likely. In the 83rd minute, however, fortune smiled on the visitors. Maciej Wojtas played the ball to Jarosław Wichowski, who beat Bartosz Bochnia from close range. The score did not change before the final whistle. BKS’s defeat in this match means that Karkonosze have left the relegation zone, with BKS taking their place.
