For you, it is just football, but for me... it is my whole life. It is thousands of hours spent on the pitch – in training, in the sun and rain, in the gym and on the treadmill. It is every touch of the ball, every pass, shot or saved ball that shaped me not only as a player, but also as a person. It is discipline, dedication and the constant pursuit of being better, which is my everyday life. Football means emotions to me that cannot be described. It is the shiver down your spine before stepping onto the pitch, the adrenaline during the match and the sense of fulfilment after a victory.
It is also history and tradition that I try to preserve. It is memories of those who came before me and who are no longer here, but I am happy that I had the chance to meet them, play with them and befriend them. Now I can pass this knowledge and these emotions on to those who come after me. Football means friendships and acquaintances that have survived the years and connect us not only on the pitch, but also off it. It is a bond that makes us a real team – a family.

On Saturday, 16 August, at around 22:00, a match between Oldboye BKS – Oldboye CKS Czeladź (the match was originally scheduled to start at 20:00, but the start time was changed. The reason? The need for technical preparation of the pitch) began at the modernised stadium on Spółdzielcza Street in Bolesławiec. On Saturday, Bolesławiec residents received the following text message:
MOSiR informs you that the OLD BOYS BKS Bolesławiec vs OLD BOYS CKS CZELADŹ match will start at 21:30 at the municipal stadium on Spółdzielcza Street.
The match was played under artificial lighting.
The friendly match between Oldboye BKS and Oldboye CKS Czeladź ended 4–2 in favour of the Bolesławiec team.
BKS’s goals were scored by: Radosław Szajwaj, Mateusz Mucha, Artur Spraski and Jacek Bochnia.
The broad BKS squad for this match included former and current players, coaches, BKS officials and friends of the club from Spółdzielcza Street.
