On Saturday (April 16), BKS Bobrzanie faced Konfeks Legnica. Before the match, the visiting players wore shirts bearing the message: "Łukasz, we are playing for you." In this way, the people from Legnica showed solidarity with their teammate, who had been seriously injured in a car accident a month earlier.
BKS started the match energetically. Our team played aggressively, but its play did not translate into goals. The players were unable to finish the chances they created. Two free-kick attempts did not even find the target. BKS attacked and dominated, but the visitors were the first to score. In the 43rd minute, Tomasz Kociszewski converted one of Konfeks's few attacks and headed the ball past Sebastian Łokaj. The score remained 0:1 until half-time.
Immediately after the break, Chrystian Serkies came on for Kamil Mielnik. BKS attacked, but still nothing came of it. The visitors attacked as well. Marcin Kaczmarek twice shot at the BKS goal. Fortunately for BKS, both attempts were off target. Bartłomiej Ławkiel also wasted a good chance for Konfeks. With only the BKS goalkeeper to beat, the player failed to hit the target. In the 72nd minute, Chrystian Serkies was fouled in Konfeks's penalty area. For the foul, the visiting player received a second yellow card and had to leave the pitch. Łukasz Filipiak confidently converted the penalty. Although BKS had a one-player advantage, the score did not change again. BKS drew 1:1 with Konfeks Legnica. Łukasz Filipiak and Adam Klimas had good games. The defense also played well: Jakub Wołyński and Józef Pietrzak. The problems are a lack of finishing, weak shots and a lack of accurate passes. Next Wednesday (April 20), BKS will play its postponed match against Karkonosze Jelenia Góra. A defeat in that match will mean that BKS enters the relegation zone. Kick-off is at 5:00 p.m.
BKS: Łokaj – Wołyński, Pietrzak, Klimas (85' Mucha), Bryłkowski, Kotlarz, Janicki, Nowakowski E., Filipiak, Mielnik (47' Serkies), Sworacki (88' Szymański).
