Residents of this part of Bolesławiec can breathe a sigh of relief. Years of appeals and press reports have produced results – the city is beginning a thorough modernization of the internal roads between Gdańska and Warszawska streets.

The scope of the investment is extensive and includes:

  • Reconstruction of the road surface over a length of 416 meters – a new, durable surface made of concrete paving blocks will improve driving comfort,
  • Construction and modernization of sidewalks – pedestrians will gain safe and convenient walking routes,
  • 34 parking spaces, including 2 for people with disabilities,
  • A new drainage system – with inlets, inspection chambers and two underground retention tanks,
  • Modern LED lighting – 18 poles with 22 energy-efficient fixtures will be installed,
  • Reconstruction of driveways to properties and garages,
  • Improvements for residents – including new access routes to buildings, relocation of the waste shelter and installation of street furniture.

The work is intended to improve the safety, appearance and functionality of the space.
