Today, July 7, at 5:25 a.m., firefighters from OSP Wierzbowa were dispatched to a grass fire by the road between the villages of Wierzbowa and Gromadka.
Upon arriving at the scene, they found that it was not grass but hay bales that were burning—seven had caught fire. Firefighters from OSP Różyniec also took part in the firefighting operation.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
