A reader asked us to address the issue of the lack of a crosswalk on the newly paved Garncarska Street in Bolesławiec:
It is dangerous; cars—most of them do not stop and honk at pedestrians because not everyone knows what the upright sign indicating a pedestrian crossing means. When will the road markings appear?
She added:
Today my daughter was almost hit by a car. One car stopped, and another began overtaking it because, as there were no road markings, the driver decided that it was not a pedestrian crossing.
She also added: – It is dangerous. It is frightening to cross. The aggression of some drivers, who must have won their driving licences in a packet of crisps, has already reached the ceiling.”
We appeal for action!
