The Chief Sanitary Inspector was informed that Lidl Polska Sp. z o.o. Sp. k., together with the producer AleBrowar sp. z o.o., is recalling the batch of the product named “Mango Man Lassi Mango Sour Ale Beer” indicated below due to the possibility of secondary fermentation causing an increase in pressure inside the bottle, which may become damaged (burst).

On 23 June 2025, Lidl withdrew the product from sale and informed customers of the situation by posting a notice on its website, lidl.pl, in the “Important information for customers” section, and in all stores in the chain.
AleBrowar identified the cause of the non-compliance, began the process of withdrawing the beer batch from circulation, and informed recipients about the ongoing recall process. The producer posted a warning on social media informing consumers about the danger and the recall.
The authorities of the State Sanitary Inspection are conducting explanatory inspections at the supplier and the producer.
