BKS played in Legnica without Adam Klimas, who was suspended due to yellow cards, and Chrystian Serkies, who had a cold. The hosts created the first dangerous chance. In the 2nd minute, Łokaj showed good reflexes to save a close-range shot from Miedź’s striker. In the 22nd minute, Ariel Sworacki came close to scoring. After Mielnik’s cross, the Legnica goalkeeper was quicker than our striker and “plucked” the ball off Ariel’s head. Our players created another chance in the 35th minute. After Filipiak’s pass across the face of goal, Sworacki was just a few centimetres short of putting our team ahead. The closing stages of the first half belonged to the hosts. After a free kick from 20 metres out, Kamil Hempel hit the post. In the 42nd minute, Józek Pietrzak made a mistake and Hempel scored for Miedź. BKS went into the break 0–1 down.
The second half began with BKS attacking. In the 48th minute, Sworacki and Kotlarz had chances to beat Laskowski. However, both close-range shots went wide. Our team equalised in the 66th minute. After an attack down the left, Mielnik crossed into the Miedź penalty area. Sworacki beat Laskowski with a header. Until the end of the match, both teams created several attacks. None of them ended in a goal.
Next Saturday (2 April), BKS will play at home. Our team’s opponent will be Ślęza Wrocław. The match is scheduled to begin at 16:00.
