Before the referee started the match, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the late Pope Francis. The BKS Bolesławiec–Victoria Jelenia Góra match was not filled with twists and turns, goal-scoring chances or shots. Both teams fought mainly in midfield, although the hosts had the optical advantage. There were very few accurate shots.
The only goal of the match came in the 30th minute. A goal that secured victory and the long-awaited three points for the Bolesławiec team. Mikołaj Grabowski played the ball to which Maciej Szewczyk jumped and beat the visiting goalkeeper with a header.
Two more goal-scoring chances were worth noting, in which the Bolesławiec team could have extended their lead. The first came near the end of the first half, when Łukasz Kalisz shot at the visitors’ goal. The Victoria goalkeeper managed, with some difficulty, to deflect the ball beyond the end line. The second came late in the match. On that occasion, Alexandros Kollias failed to convert a one-on-one chance in the penalty area. The visiting goalkeeper saved the BKS player’s shot.
