BKS footballers scored the first goal. Towards the end of the first half, Nowak was fouled in the hosts’ penalty area. Rissmann converted the penalty. Before the referee’s half-time whistle, Łużyce equalised. The goal came after a successful cross by the visitors, with Wichowski as its scorer. The score did not change until the end of the match, even though the BKS players were supported by a group of 40 fans from Bolesławiec.
Saturday’s match was the first played by the BKS senior team in the spring round of the IV league competition. The first round of matches was supposed to begin as early as 12 March, but unfavourable weather led to the matches being postponed until the end of the month.
The BKS footballers will play their next match on Wednesday in Zgorzelec. The game against Nysa Zgorzelec will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the stadium at 1 Maratońska Street.
