BKS Bolesławiec, which plays its matches in the Jelenia Góra district league, is preparing for the spring round of the competition. The competition will begin this coming weekend. The senior team, coached by Radosław Szajwaj, played five friendly matches as part of its preparations for the football spring. The friendly-match record is 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat.
- On 5 February, in a match played in Szprotawa, Bolesławiec defeated local side Sprotavia 3:1. BKS goals were scored by Maciej Szewczyk, Mateusz Sinica and Mateusz Rutyna,
- On 16 February in Lubań, the BKS senior team faced Nysa Zgorzelec. The match ended with a 5:4 win for Bolesławiec. Paweł Złotorowicz scored twice for BKS. Kacper Deka, Juni and Filip Zagórski also found the net,
- On 22 February in Polkowice, BKS played a friendly against the hosts’ U-19 team. The match ended in a 4:3 victory for the Polkowice youngsters. BKS goals in this match were scored by Mateusz Sinica, Kacper Deka and Paweł Złotorowicz,
- In their fourth friendly, on 26 February in Lubań, Bolesławiec defeated Łużyce Lubań 1:0. The only goal of the match was scored by Maciej Szewczyk, who until recently had been a Łużyce player,
- In their final test, on 1 March, BKS faced Karkonosze U-19 in Jelenia Góra. The match ended in a 1:1. draw. Mateusz Sinica scored BKS’s goal.
The football spring begins this coming weekend (8–9 March). BKS Bolesławiec will host the league leaders – GKS Cement Raciborowice. The match will be played on Saturday, 8 March, at 2:00 p.m., on the pitch on Rajska Street in Bolesławiec. Bolesławiec will certainly want to avenge last year’s defeat. Raciborowice, meanwhile, will want to retain their position at the top of the table. How will the match end? Vote in the poll (below).
As for the other teams from our county playing in the district league, in the same round Twardy Świętoszów will host LZS Kościelnik, while Chrobry Nowogrodziec will face Granica Bogatynia at home.
