Firefighters checked the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air using a multi-gas detector. The measurement showed a concentration of 250 ppm. Other units were checked, and a chimney sweep was called to inspect the flues. The cause of the carbon monoxide release was a soot fire in the chimney.
