Under the agreement, the city will acquire five modern, low-floor electric buses manufactured by Solaris, Urbino 9H model. In addition, the agreement covers the delivery of two chargers and a set of tools necessary for manufacturer authorization and for carrying out ongoing servicing and warranty repairs. The project contractor is Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o., and the order is to be completed within 12 months of the date the agreement is signed.
The total value of the contract is PLN 13,899,000. Funding of PLN 10,887,500 was provided under the project entitled “Zero-emission public transport – continuation of the process of electrifying the public transport fleet in the Municipality of Bolesławiec,” as part of the investment: Zero-emission collective transport (buses) under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
This is another step toward the sustainable development of Bolesławiec and improving the quality of public transport, which will certainly enhance the comfort and environmental sustainability of urban transport.
