The incident occurred on December 9. As firefighters from Krzyżowa report:
At 1:18 a.m., we were dispatched to a roof fire in a residential building in our town.
They add: – Our task was to secure the scene, direct two streams of water onto the burning roof, and then dismantle the scorched elements and extinguish the remaining pockets of fire.
And they conclude: – Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, and the residents evacuated before the arrival of the emergency services.
Meanwhile, KP PSP Bolesławiec reports:
The roof of a residential building was on fire. The fire did not spread to the living area because of the concrete ceiling. Two people evacuated before the fire crews arrived.
